Terms and Conditions

Op onze cursussen en workshops zijn onze Algemene Voorwaarden Dos Bailadores 2024 van toepassing.

Registration

Most courses start three times a year: in January, in April and in September. You can register in three ways:

  • Preferably via this website: register
  • During the open days that are organized three times a year
  • By phone if the above does not work

After receiving your registration, you will be assigned, and you will receive confirmation by e-mail. In case of changes or when a course is full, we will contact you as soon as possible. If you have been assigned at a time that is unsuitable for you, please contact us immediately. If you have registered for the next season via the attendance lists during the last course, you can still register via the website. If you want to change your registration, please send us an e-mail as soon as possible.

Payment

When you register via the website, you can pay directly via iDeal. If you are entitled to a discount, enter the discount code (see prices). If payment via iDeal is not possible, you can transfer the course fee to:
Stichting Dos Bailadores in Leiden, IBAN: NL 72 INGB 0007227455, stating: first and last name, date of birth, course(s) and day(s).

If payment via iDEAL or via bank transfer is not possible, there is still the possibility to pay on location in exceptional cases (cash or QR payment request).

Participation is only possible when the course fee has been paid.
In the event of overdue payment, we will charge € 12.50 administration costs.

Cancellation

A course can be canceled at least 1 week before the start. In that case, a cancellation fee of € 30 per person will be charged. Paid tuition fees will be returned after deduction of this € 30. If the amount has not yet been paid, a cancellation fee of € 30 must still be paid. Courses canceled within 1 week before the start of the course or later must be paid in full.

The cancellation must be made in writing and can be sent to: [email protected]

You are responsible for checking whether the relevant written cancellation has been received by us on time and in good order.

The full tuition fee will only be refunded when a course expires, i.e. is canceled by us in the event of insufficient participation. Missed lessons can be made up during the season in parallel courses in consultation with the teacher.

Tips

Clothing advice: casual clothing, comfortable and airy. At Brazilian Fitness Axé we recommend sporty clothing. No jeans for belly dancing, preferably clothing in which you move easily and you can see your movements well.

Footwear: with Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba it is best to wear shoes that are comfortable or that you also like to wear in everyday life. Make sure that they are not too stiff, so no crepe soles, for example. At DC Dance studio Red and Black have a smooth floor. In the Pop up studio you can wear shoes with smooth soles. At Axé en Zouk it is best to wear flat shoes, dance sneakers or sports shoes with a thin sole. Belly dancing can be done barefoot, socks, ballet shoes.

Hygiene: most dance classes are in the evening, often after a long day at work. We therefore advise you, if possible, to take a shower or at least to freshen up and wear clean clothes when you take lessons. Especially with the partner dances, your dance partner will certainly appreciate this!

Report to reception: only when paying on location in exceptional cases, ask for Monique. During the lessons we check attendance and payments.
